Susie O'Neill is one of Australia's greatest swimmers, an Olympic gold medallist, a world record holder, Susie, is the most successful athlete in Commonwealth Games history, winning 10 gold medals. She has won a gold, silver and 2 bronze at the Olympic Games. Susie has won 10 consecutive Australian titles in her Olympic gold medal event, the 200m butterfly and holds the record for the most number of Australian titles. Susie also gives motivational speeches and has written a very inspirational book: Choose to Win (1997). In 1997 Susie was awarded the Order of Australia Medal (OAM).
She is a truly great athlete and role model.
